this post is about my best art for year 9 2018, I have three photos but I will only explain two of my arts and why they are the best and second best.

This here is the best one because it has the best shading, and has really helped my skills improve on my art work. Also the different shapes helped with my 3D shapes.

This is my second best art work because it is well I don't know but this is 2D and is a maori fish hook necklaces, and it also has some maori designs on it to make it more artistic.

This here is my third best but I'm not going to explain this one I just wonted this on here to full some space up.

Term 2 Mars Lander

This here is my design so far.

Design process

For the design process we brainstormed ideas to see what one is more realistic, and to change it if we had to. Also we started to look at what different materials could be used for, like a cup could be a good catch for the sphero. Or putting a cup on top of it, we didn’t tern the sphero on but we did a friction test on the ground. The thing I am wondering about the suspension on the model, and what would be used as the suspension. Some ideas I have for the suspension is using pipe cleaners put into a spring shape, then putting the wheels at the bottom somehow. For the turning system I have no idea what to do, because the sphero is what will be used but how will the wheels tern. Also we will need to control the size of our mars lander, because it could become too heavy for the sphero.

Mars terrain

the terrain can be very steep, rough and ridged so if I were to make a mars lander, I would need something to withstand the terrain. Now it would be easy to fix just by adding suspension but we also need to consider gravity, because if we hit a bump we could go flying. So to fix that we need weight which should hopefully fix that.

Hypothesis

Our Mars Lander has this shape because it will keep the weight in the same place will keep it close to the ground. Also our Robot will navigate the terrain with these features because we need to communicate and transmit the photos/information back to earth.

This is about my art in art class for this term (term 2)
This one here is my road safety bot. This was made to show one of he school wide expectations, this one is safety. This is because the robot is waiting for the car to leave so it can cross the road. 

This is not about any thing so I is just peace of art that I made but I think that it is pretty cool. It's a tree on a hill with a little pond next to it. The stem and the branches are large but you can see little lines those are like branches but there just there to make the tree look bigger than it is.

Mark Rober

The person that inspires me is Mark Rober who does science experiments at his home. He was born 11 march 1980 Los Angeles, birth symbol-pisce (like me) gender-male

Mark rober inspires me because he does one of my favourite topics-science. Some of his experiments are calm and peaceful. other are just absolutely stupidly crazy (by that I mean the ides are crazy.) like a hot sand hot tub or automatic snowball machine gun. But like I said he dose calm experiments like, best ideas for egg drop and hot wheels stunt race with an explosion. Know to me this is calm but it could be crazy in a way.

Another thing that inspires me is the fact he is an uncle like me. So some of the experiments he does is with his nieces and nephews, so some of his experiments I can do to be a cool uncle.(also his goal is to be the best uncle in the world.)

You may not have the same opinion but this is my thoughts. He was the one who got me into science and other things to do with science. This may be important because it can get young people interested and may help with getting a job for them. The video that got me into sciences was the hot wheels stunt race.(probably from the explosion)

Electric cars! Have you ever wondered what would happen if the world had only electric cars instead of combustion. The air would be so clean in the streets and there is no need for fossil fuels at all, or is there? Because the energy needed for electric cars can come from fossil fuels or gas and it would also pollute the air in the area. This may happen in the future so if we do something now so we can have a better future. images of today

as you can see in these photos that electric cars are a good choice but they can bring harm to the world. if you don't know how it harm's the world then continue reading. electric cars harm the world because of the energy it uses. sure there's solar, wind and hydro but energy can also come from fossil fuels. just so you know fossil fuel is oil, gas and coal. we burn these then use that heat to make energy.

Can we sruvive without the ocean?

Can we survive without the ocean? By Jordan Did you know that if the ocean was gone rivers and lakes would also go. So without the ocean we would dehydrated from not having water. we can not survive because about 70% of the air we breath is made by the oceans plantation (coral reef).We can not survive because the ocean actually absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and slow´s the impact of climate change! Personally I think we would not survive because the ocean is the world's life support system and we would die from dehydration if the ocean died. The ocean is the most important part of the world because without it our civilization would not be the same, the Earth would be just a dry rock. this is only some of my report.
